Today we’d like to introduce you to Robyn Yonn.
Hi Robyn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Robyn, the Founder and Lead Designer behind Marée Paper Studio LLC, a luxury wedding stationery studio inspired by timeless details, refined typography, and intentional design. My entrepreneurial journey first began in 2018 with a custom embroidery and screen-printing business, where I discovered a love for creativity, branding, and craftsmanship. As life and career responsibilities evolved, that creative passion was placed on hold while I focused on building my professional career.
In 2025, I began planning the launch of a new creative venture that combined my love for typography, elevated paper design, and meaningful details. This ultimately lead to the creation of Marée Paper Studio. Today, the studio is centered around creating timeless wedding stationery and paper goods designed to feel both intentional and heirloom-worthy.
Based in Northeast Florida and serving couples beyond, I specialize in bespoke wedding invitations, day-of paper, and custom stationery designed to reflect each couple’s story with elegance and artistry. I believe stationery is more than just an announcement — it sets the tone for a celebration and becomes a lasting keepsake for years to come.
Alongside my entrepreneurial journey, I have a professional background in operations management and healthcare leadership, which has shaped the way I approach both creativity and client experience. I value organization, communication, and thoughtful collaboration just as much as beautiful design.
Through Marée Paper Studio, my goal is to create pieces that feel intentional, elevated, and timeless, combining fine details with a romantic, coastal-inspired aesthetic that leaves a lasting impression.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like many entrepreneurs would say, the journey has not always been smooth, but each challenge has helped shape the vision and purpose behind Marée Paper Studio. Building a creative business while balancing a full-time career has required patience, perseverance, discipline, and countless late nights devoted to planning, learning, and refining the brand.
There were moments where creative passions had to take a back seat to professional responsibilities, but that time ultimately gave me valuable experience in operations, leadership, and client relationships that now influence how I run the studio today.
Patience is equally important, especially in creative industries, because meaningful brands and lasting client relationships take time to build. Personally, entrepreneurship has taught me that sustainable success is less about instant results and more about showing up consistently, continued commitment to learning, and staying dedicated to creating something with purpose and intention.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Marée Paper Studio LLC is a luxury wedding stationery studio focused on creating refined, intentional paper goods for weddings and special events. We specialize in bespoke and semi-custom wedding invitations, save the dates, day-of paper, and personalized stationery designed to feel timeless, elevated, and deeply personal to each client.
What sets Marée Paper Studio apart is the balance between thoughtful artistry and an organized, client-focused experience. Every suite is designed with careful attention to typography, texture, color palette, and fine details to create pieces that not only announce a celebration, but become meaningful keepsakes for years to come.
The brand is heavily inspired by European coastal aesthetics, timeless design, and the belief that paper tells a story long before a wedding day begins. Rather than following short-lived trends, the focus is on creating stationery that feels classic and timeless.
One of the things I am most proud of the brand is building a business rooted in intention, authenticity, and meaningful connection. Marée Paper Studio was founded from a genuine passion for thoughtful design and refined details, and every project is approached with care, creativity, and collaboration. From the very beginning, I have prioritized building strong relationships with fellow creatives within the wedding industry while striving to make a lasting impact through exceptional service, craftsmanship, and an elevated client experience.
I want readers to know that behind every suite is a highly personalized experience. From the initial concept to the finished paper goods, the goal is to create designs that reflect each couple’s story while providing a seamless and elevated experience throughout the process. Marée Paper Studio is not simply about invitations, it is about creating heirloom-quality pieces that become part of a couple’s memories and celebration.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I believe entrepreneurship naturally requires a willingness to take risks, but I also believe the most meaningful risks are often the ones rooted in purpose, and long-term vision. One of the biggest risks I have taken was pursuing the launch of Marée Paper Studio while balancing a demanding full-time career and graduate studies. Building a brand from the ground up requires a significant investment of time, energy, and trust in yourself, especially before seeing immediate results. There is always uncertainty when stepping into a creative industry, but I believed strongly in the vision and the value of creating something meaningful and lasting. My goal is to build a legacy within the wedding stationery industry, and commitment to pursuing long term success is the vision.
Another major risk was allowing myself to pivot creatively and professionally. My background is in healthcare leadership and operations management, so stepping into the luxury wedding industry required confidence in my ability to grow, adapt, and build credibility in a completely different space.
My perspective on risk is that growth rarely happens within comfort zones. Some of the most rewarding opportunities come from being willing to pursue something before you feel entirely ready. At the same time, I think risk should be paired with patience, preparation, and perseverance.
