I started my journey in carpet cleaning in 2015 in Jacksonville, where I trained my way up from technician helper, to technician, to operator, and now, owner and operator.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Opening a business while raising a young family and relocating, although it felt overwhelming at times, I could see how much it’s shaping me for the better. I juggled startup costs, moving expenses, and the need to provide stability, but I’m learning with intention and confidence.
The long hours I pour into my business challenge me, yet they’re teaching me discipline, focus, and resilience in ways I never expected. Through it all, I’m growing—not just as a business owner, but as a parent and a person—and I can already see the foundation I’m building leading to a more secure, fulfilling future for my family and our neighbors. I want Mr. Steam-Tech to be a legacy, and it seems like it’s paving the way already.
