My journey really began when I recognized a major gap in women’s healthcare—especially in how women feel about their bodies. As a gynecologist, I saw so many women silently struggling with changes to their vaginal anatomy from childbirth, aging, cancer treatments, or even genetics—things that impacted their confidence, comfort, intimacy, and daily life—but were rarely talked about.
What stood out to me was that these concerns were often dismissed or simply not addressed, because they often fall outside what insurance covers and thus women are often not given all the options that exist. Yet, these issues matter deeply to women.
That’s why I founded Cosmetic Gynecology Florida & Gynecology Plus—to create a space where women feel empowered to talk openly about their bodies and to know that they have options. Whether it is restoring their private anatomy after childbirth via labiaplasty, vaginoplasty, or perineoplasty to restore anatomy and confidence, or treatments for urinary incontinence, sexual health, hormone balance, and support for breast cancer survivors—this is about treating the whole woman.
These are not just cosmetic concerns—they are quality-of-life issues. My mission is to help women feel confident, comfortable, and fully at home in their bodies at every stage of life.”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—but every challenge has helped shape what I’ve built today. Starting a practice that focuses on cosmetic gynecology meant stepping outside of traditional medicine, and that comes with its own set of challenges.
There’s still a stigma around women talking openly about their bodies, especially when it comes to intimate concerns, so part of the journey has been not just building a practice—but helping change that conversation.
On top of that, building a business from the ground up while balancing being a physician, a mother, and everything else life brings is not easy. There are financial risks, operational challenges, and moments where you question if you’re doing enough.
But I truly believe in what I’m doing. I’ve seen firsthand how transformative this care can be for women—not just physically, but emotionally. And that belief is what has kept me moving forward through every obstacle.

When a woman walks out feeling empowered, confident, and able to fully live her life without limitations—that’s success.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about procedures or treatments, it’s about helping women feel whole, aligned, and truly at home in their own bodies.
