Today we’d like to introduce you to Lori Creel.
Hi Lori, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey into the wellness space was shaped by both my professional background and my personal experience as a patient.
Before founding ELMNT Wellness, I worked in healthcare IT, supporting large healthcare data systems and collaborating closely with provider offices. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how care is delivered at scale—where individuals can often become part of a broader system designed to treat the masses rather than the person.
At the same time, as a patient and consumer of healthcare, I experienced firsthand the disconnect that can exist. I found myself navigating a system where a one-size-fits-all approach didn’t always align with how I felt or what my body truly needed. As our lifestyles, environments, and health challenges have evolved—including the rise in autoimmune conditions, chronic stress, and modern-day exposures—it became clear that many people are searching for a more personalized, supportive approach to wellness.
Over the past several years, with the increase in new health concerns, treatments, and interventions, I began asking deeper questions:
What does it truly mean to support the body?
And why are so many people still not feeling well, even with more options than ever before?
That search led me back to something more foundational.
I began focusing on the body’s natural processes—how it moves, detoxifies, restores, and functions as an interconnected system. I developed a deep appreciation for how capable and intelligent the body truly is when it’s supported in the right ways.
ELMNT Wellness was created from that perspective.
A space rooted in the belief that wellness doesn’t need to be complicated—but it does need to be intentional. Where we support the body through foundational elements like movement, flow, hydration, nourishment, sunlight, rest, and human connection. Where modern therapies are thoughtfully integrated to work with the body, not against it.
A core part of what we do is education.
Today, many wellness services are widely available—but often used in isolation or simply because they’re trending. Many people don’t fully understand why they are beneficial, how often they should be used, or how different therapies can work together to create meaningful, lasting results.
At ELMNT Wellness, we take a more intentional approach.
Through our branded experiences, we guide clients based on their individual goals, lifestyle, and the information they share with us. We help them understand how to thoughtfully combine services in a way that is safe, effective, and aligned with their body—so they can not only feel the difference, but understand it.
Another key element we focus on—one that is often overlooked—is the nervous system.
In today’s high-stress, fast-paced world, the nervous system plays a critical role in overall wellness. Yet it is rarely prioritized or fully understood. Chronic stress, tension, and past experiences can be held in the body in many different ways, impacting everything from digestion and energy to recovery and overall balance.
We believe that learning how to regulate the nervous system is foundational.
Often, what the body needs most is simple—space to breathe, to slow down, and to feel safe and supported. When the nervous system is more balanced, the body can function more efficiently, restore more effectively, and ultimately feel and look better.
At ELMNT Wellness, we don’t force the process—we let the body guide it.
Our role is to support what the body needs, when it needs it, using a thoughtful combination of therapies and education to help clients reconnect, rebalance, and move forward in their wellness journey with clarity and confidence.
Because when we return to the basics and support the body as it was designed, it has an incredible ability to restore, adapt, and thrive.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This path hasn’t always been easy—but it has always felt clear. From the moment I stepped into this work, there was a sense of alignment in what I was meant to do. Like many sole business owners, I’ve faced the realities that come with building something from the ground up—navigating uncertainty, taking on risk, and figuring out how to finance a vision while still managing everyday life. Small business ownership often comes with challenges that aren’t always talked about, especially when it comes to access to funding and the pressure of sustaining both a business and personal responsibilities at the same time. There have been moments that required resilience, trust, and a willingness to keep moving forward even when the path wasn’t fully clear. But what has grounded me through it all is the deep sense of fulfillment I’ve experienced in helping others reconnect with their bodies and realize their potential to feel better. Seeing those shifts—when someone begins to understand their body, trust it, and feel a difference—is incredibly meaningful to me. At the core of it, this work is more than a business. It’s something I feel genuinely called to do, and supporting others on their wellness journey is what continues to drive me forward.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about ELMNT Wellness?
ELMNT Wellness is a modern, integrative wellness studio designed to support the body’s natural processes through a thoughtful, personalized approach. We specialize in services such as colon hydrotherapy, IV hydration and NAD+ therapy, lymphatic drainage, infrared sauna, halotherapy, red light therapy, and compression—delivered not as isolated treatments, but as part of a more intentional, guided experience.
What sets us apart is how we bring these services together.
A key differentiator for us is the combination of education, curated experiences, and the environment we’ve created. Many of the services we offer are available in today’s wellness space, but they’re often used at an ad hoc level—without a clear understanding of why they’re beneficial, how often they should be used, or how they can work together to support the body more effectively. At ELMNT Wellness, we take the time to guide our clients through that process. Through our branded experiences, we tailor recommendations based on individual goals, lifestyle, and what the body needs in that moment—creating a more intentional and aligned approach to wellness.
Equally important is the atmosphere we’ve designed. Our space is calm, modern, and intentionally relaxed—allowing clients to slow down, feel comfortable, and step out of the fast pace of everyday life. It’s not clinical, and it’s not overwhelming. It’s an environment where people can simply be, reset, and reconnect with themselves.
Another key differentiator is our focus on the nervous system—something that is often overlooked in traditional wellness settings. In today’s high-stress world, many people are operating in a constant state of tension, which impacts everything from digestion and energy to recovery and overall balance. We prioritize creating an environment where clients can slow down, regulate, and feel supported—because when the nervous system is more balanced, the body can function more efficiently and restore more effectively.
What I’m most proud of from a brand perspective is that ELMNT Wellness isn’t just a place people come for services—it’s a place where they begin to understand their bodies in a new way. We’re creating a space that feels elevated yet approachable, educational yet calming, and intentional in every detail.
At its core, ELMNT Wellness is about helping people feel better—not just temporarily, but in a way that is sustainable, informed, and aligned with how the body is designed to function.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that both the body—and life—require a more individualized, intentional approach than we’re often taught. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. Starting and growing a business has come with its share of challenges, especially navigating uncertainty, and the realities of building something from the ground up. I’ve learned that clarity doesn’t always come with certainty—but if the direction feels aligned, you keep moving forward and trust that you’ll figure it out along the way.
That same mindset applies to wellness. When we slow down, listen more closely, and support what’s actually needed in the moment, both the body and the path forward have a way of guiding us. Progress isn’t always linear, but with consistency, intention, and trust in the process, meaningful change happens.
