Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Estime.
Hi Lisa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m actually still processing how I got here. Last year, I spent months in prayer just asking God to help me trust Him with every part of my life and he prompted me to quit my job. I can’t say that I listened immediately but I did eventually just with the knowledge that God wouldn’t let me down and then last October I met a woman at my church who sat me down, held my hands, and look me in the eye and told me I need to start modeling. The way she said it really pierced my soul so I told her I would take some digitals and go for it. The craziest part is I had never met her before and I didn’t see her again after she talked to me. I took some digitals on my iPhone in my room and sent them to maybe 3 agencies some time in November 2025. I told my friend Sarah about me going for modeling and one thing about my friend once you tell her something she runs with it! From then on she told everyone who would listen that I’m a model and she even got me modeling jobs for some of her clients. It all really happened so fast. In February one of the agencies I applied for back in November reached out to me to talk and now I am a signed to Posewell Models. The lady who sat me down at church reappeared a few weeks ago and I was able to tell her that I got signed, she and I collectively freaked out. I have no clue what God is doing in all this but I can’t wait to find out.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been such a whirlwind of excitement. I think because I didn’t picture modeling for my life and I have let God lead me through it all, it’s been smooth and fun! Opportunities are coming from every direction and it’s really a result of me not trying to control anything and just being obedient to where God has called me. The most challenging part of all this is me getting out of my own way and accepting that despite my introvert tendencies to be in the back and hidden God is calling me to be seen and it it hard to grasp.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a model and content creator. I started creating content on Tik Tok in 2021 centered around fashion, skincare, and hair. My hair content though is what blew up the most and got me brand deals with hair care companies. I still showcase fashion and skincare, while also branching out into the makeup world and my modeling journey.
I love that my content is attainable. I think sometimes our favorite creators lives look like a dream to us but I am so regular I hope other women are inspired to follow God and let him lead you to your dreams!
Any big plans?
I am trying not to plan too far ahead. I find that when I go too far I miss what’s happening in the present. I am living in answered prayers and I want to fully enjoy it.
