Conversations with Fay Blake

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fay Blake.

Hi Fay, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It all started when two retired folks decided to buy a farm. Having grown up on a farm, it was just in my blood to have critters to care for.
Kevin’s love for donkeys led us to purchase 3 named Princess Bella, Lady Lois, and Sir Benjamin. Nigerian dwarf goats soon joined the herd, quickly followed by chickens. Our newest addition is Fiona, a beautiful white mare, with her baby Cecil, named for Cecil Musslewhite. In addition to loving and growing furry farm animals, we also grow plants, veggies, flowers and fruit trees in our plant nursery.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Small businesses always face financial difficulties

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Old fashioned farm fun getting kids back to nature and the basics. We run a full farm petting zoo and plant nursery.
