Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison Walcutt.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my media career working for Cox Radio as an Account Manager in the Miami market. After that I moved to Jacksonville and worked for Cox Radio as an Account Manager until I was promoted to Local Sales Manager. I worked there and was laid off in 2009. I took a few years and started some small businesses including a fitness studio and a voice over company. I was recruited to be the Local Sales Manager for a direct mail publication called Money Pages and helped the owner build a franchise business for the publication and also launch a digital media and video company called 3D Digital. I moved into the Sales Manager role over 3D Digital exclusively and then decide to leave and start my own business in 2018. I began Branded Marketing and have this company to this day.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We had had highs and lows over the course of the business from funding issues, to Covid, to staff changes. We have recently experienced some wonderful growth and are going through some standard growing pains.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My Art Director, Melissa Alexander has been my most valuable teammate who has been with me since the beginning. She is not only my art director and the lead designer but she is also a friend and confidant, and a huge cheerleader. Also my husband and believed in me and supported me through the whole process. I also have a few clients who have been amazing and stuck with me through thick and thin.
