Hi Scarlett, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Let me tell you a little bit how i became an Cosmetologist and Esthetician, i started in the area of the Microblanding doing tattoos brows , my practice was with my friends and family, and that time a lot of my friends and family’s ask me “do you do skin care? And i was thinking the Universe is showing me that i need to do something else, and 2019 i was at home about the Covi and i started studying online Cosmetology and at that time for practice we only need to go 2 times a week for practice, when i graduate i said ok now what? So i started my service going to customer home, my friends and family’s help me with recommendations, it’s was difficult because i was carrying in my car the bed, lamps well everything you will need to do a facial, i was living in Miami and for me was difficult to rent a space every space was expensive, but i didn’t give up, i continued to study, i became Medical assistant, Phlebotomist and i became specialist in the area anti-aging, acne treatments, also i continued to do the tattoo makeup i did course of lips color, eyeliner and different technique, at this time i have a lot of certificate, my 2 daughters help me with the social media, posting videos pictures of my work, but wasn’t enough i still need more, like a name of my business to start a full page with all my work, i always want a name that’s involved my 2 granddaughters “Camila Rose and Chloe Lily it was difficult to do a combination of the 2 name, but my son-in-law Help me with the name and the Logo “Lily & Rose” my two granddaughters middle names, my younger daughter help me to open a company, adding Beauty Bar the full name is “Lily & Rose Beauty Bar”, when i moved to Jacksonville i decided to look for a space, it’s was difficult because we were new in town, but my family always supported me, my husband, my daughters my sister and niece, i find a beautiful place in Orange Park and i said this it, always trust in god that’s everything is going to be alright, i started created a webpage, and offered services in Groupon, and now it’s been 4 years in Jacksonville and thanks god i have a lot of customers i find a partner that’s working with me in the area Hair stylist, i am so glad that she is with me, i love my job, i love when people came to me and have great results with my treatments, and i still continue studying because in the area of the Cosmetology you need to be studying, news treatments, news equipment, but i am glad to do it because i offer all my knowledge to my customers. I always say, if you love what you do, don’t stop dreaming. With a little effort, you can achieve it. It’s not easy, but it’s not impossible either. Trust in yourself, and with the help of God and your loved ones, you will succeed. But always, always trust your self and your capabilities. Don’t set limits for yourself, and you will overcome any obstacle.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The roads is never easy; you will always encounter obstacles along the way. The important thing is to reach your goal. In my case, one of the obstacles was financial, but even so, I was able to achieve it.

I am a cosmetologist, esthetician, and medical assistant. I specialize in the beauty industry and anti-aging treatments. I also work in permanent makeup. The area I am most proud of is seeing the results my clients achieve with my treatments. What sets me apart from others is that when my clients come to me, I instill in them a sense of peace and self-confidence.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The future is uncertain, the only thing I ask of God is to remain healthy and to have the ability to continue learning so I can offer new innovations.
