Check Out Janet Vaine’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Janet Vaine.

Hi Janet, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began Planned to Perfections Events & Rentals, LLC, in 2020 blending my 34 years of teaching skills with creativity to provide clients a memorable event. My classroom experience in planning, coordinating, and designing now benefits clients.

My team’s eye and truly listening to our clients helps us capture their visions. Being a teacher has afforded me the ability to adapt in working with diverse people making event planning, coordinating and management easy. My team and I bring the same enthusiasm and passion to every event, ensuring a unique experience tailored to each client’s vision, vibe, and budget.

With our all-inclusive “one-stop shop” framework and personalized approach, we simplify event planning for our clients. Our commitment in sticking to the philosophy of its ‘Your Day – Your Way’ ensures their celebration perfectly fits what they envision.

We’ve been recognized for our award-winning service excellence by earning Wedding Wires “Couple’s Choice Award 2025”.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Every business experience struggles and hits bumps in the road. Marketing is a struggle. We are on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Wedding Wire. We’ve attended Bridal Expos but those are very price and are a hit or miss experience. Sometimes, we’ve gotten a couple of bookings but other times, nothing. I have a website, but marketing still seems to be a challenge without spending a ton of money. That type of disposable funding is just not readily available for a small business.

Getting “ghosted” by potential clients is not only a challenge but also frustrating for vendors like me. I pride myself of being very quick to respond to every inquiry that comes my way. All too often, those making inquiries don’t respond after I acknowledge their inquiry. I totally understand if after making the inquiry a potential client opts to go in a different direction but at least let me know.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
