Today we’d like to introduce you to Danilja Howell.
Hi Danilja, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I work in the nursing industry for 20 years. But sadly in 2017 my mother had a brain aneurysm that changed the course of life and made me rethink the way I was going.
I had to change everything to fit her needs.
I had to do something that would give me the flexibility to be able to work and at the same time always be able to there to take care of her.
One of my biggest passion has always been decorating it started as a Christmas hobby that then went in to decorating for family and friends on birthdays and milestone celebrations. When my best friend Heidy black daughter was expecting her first birthday girl I volunteered to give her a baby shower and all the attention that was prompted by the decoration’s. And friends and strangers telling me to start a party decorating business really made me think about it.
Weekends later I told my husband Marshall Howell that I was starting an event decorating business.
And just like that Parties by Dani was started.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Yes there is always obstacles but you have to climb over each one and don’t look back..
Getting to know what you can and can’t in every different city, taxes. Venues. Are all challenges.

We created one of a kind background and props to fit the client decor.
We offer a 24 hour turnaround party specifically. We can put a party together in 24 hours. The client has to choose a from a team that is available .
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
2026 we are adding a rental on the website.
Since the community is growing so much and sometimes we get a lot of diy customers. We will start renting decorating packages.
