I arrived in the United State as a refugee, carrying little more than hope, grit, and a deep belief in the power of second chances. Starting over in a new country wasn’t easy- I faces language barriers and cultural shifts. But I also brought with me something invaluable: a strong foundation in accounting, a relentless work ethic, and a vision to serve others through financial clarity.
After years of hard work-taking on odd jobs, pursuing certification, and gaining trust in my community – I founded my own accounting firm. What began as a one – person operation has grown into a trusted business navigate their finances with confidence and integrity.
My journey is a testament to what’s possible when opportunity meets perseverance. I’m proud not only of the business I have built, but of the path I have walked to get here.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building my business was a journey marked by resilience, sacrifice, and relentless determination. I faces hurdles that many entrepreneurs never have to consider.
Starting a business with limited resources meant I had to be creative – working long hours, taking side jobs, and reinvesting every dollar back into the firm.
Building trust from scratch. I didn’t have a network or reputation. I had to earn every client’s trust through integrity, consistency and results.
Emotional toll the pressure of starting, supporting family, and building a future in unfamiliar territory was emotionally taxing. But it also fueled my drive.
Each struggle became a stepping stone. Today my firm is not just a business it’s a symbol of what’s possible when you refuse to give up.

I like about Jacksonville;
Diverse Culture: The city has a rich cultural scene with numerous museums, art galleries, and theaters. The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens and the Jacksonville Symphony are just a couple of highlights.
The people of Jacksonville are known for their hospitality and friendliness, making it a welcoming place for newcomers and visitors alike.
What I Like Least:
Traffic Congestion: Like many growing cities, Jacksonville can experience significant traffic congestion, especially during peak hours. This can be a bit frustrating for daily commuters.
Public Transportation: While there are public transportation options available, they may not be as extensive or convenient as in some other major cities. This can make getting around without a car a bit challenging.
Overall, Jacksonville is a wonderful city with a lot to offer, despite a few challenges.
