Inspiring Conversations with Andrew Avery of Avery Accounting LLC & RA Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Avery.

Hi Andrew, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Jacksonville. Graduated from UNF 2012 with my accounting degree. Worked as the budget manager for the city of Jacksonville for a few years. Started my own accounting/tax firm. Now I’m a full time entrepreneur doing accounting and real estate investing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Wasn’t an easy road. I worked my way through school selecting produce at Publix warehouse. Once I graduated it was difficult to find a company that fit me. I ended up in governmental accounting where it seemed more laid back. (Along with the pay). But it was a better fit for me at the time. Ultimately I desired the freedom that came with entrepreneurship especially after Covid and tasting it with the remote work from home time. I stopped working for other people shortly after Covid as they required everyone to come into office full time. Real estate investment was a big part of the reason I was able to.

We’ve been impressed with Avery Accounting LLC & RA Realty, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Avery Accounting prides itself in providing outlets community with the tools to create and maintain generational wealth. Primarily through tax and tax strategies. RA Realty is an extension of that passion where we invest in affordable housing and teach others how to buy their first home or get into real estate investing where real wealth is created.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Rich dad Poor dad is a classic that always applies to the type on business I’m into. Also another quick ready I really think is meanfull would be the Richest man in Babylon.
