Today we’d like to introduce you to Janice Robinson.
Hi Janice, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a woman on a mission with passion and vision to Empower people How to live their Best lives on Purpose. It all started over 30 years ago when I was part of a great cosmetic company named Mary Kay. I learned so much about the power of positive thinking and setting goals and also encouraging others to do the same for themselves. During my journey in Marykay Cosmetic. I realize that God had a bigger plan for me and I began seeing myself becoming a Speaker to the masses and empowering others around the world. I am now a Speaker, Author, and Empowering Life Coach. I became a Best Seller new self published Author of my book titled “His Beauty For My Ashes” in 20222.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I had lots challenges along the way, being a military wife and a mother of 4. My struggle was in the beginning with having to move around due to my husband career in the military. I had to focus on the family verses my on hopes and dreams. I learned that being a wife then a mother that life became challenging with making new friends, finding new job, and new schools, and adapting to a new enviroment. Over the years , as my family grew i began to make some important descision , which was stay a home and put my career on hold until I became a part of somethang that allowed me the freedom to have it all. I persude my new career in 1997 in Mary Kay Cosmetic as a Independant Beauty Consultant and later on to a Senior Sales Director in 2005. I became the first Black Director in that small town call Lawton/ Fort-Sill Oklahoma to earne 2 free Cars in Mary.Kay . Becoming. Being able to stay at home and see my children when they get home from school while having a career became a dream come true for me. We gain so much financial freedom while also helping other families doing the same was Priceless.
