LARRELL & BRE , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
One of the moments that always makes us smile and fills us with so much pride, is when our little ones help us prepare the photo booth before an event. What begins as playful chaos, with them striking the silliest poses, quickly turns into a hands-on lesson in the business. They help set up the booth, clean the props, and even test the lighting. Without realizing it, they’re learning about preparation, attention to detail, and the joy of creating memorable experiences for others. Watching them blend fun with purpose is incredibly rewarding
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We’re Bre and Larrell Cherry, the husband-and-wife team behind 904 Photo Co., a modern photo booth company serving Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. Bre manages the behind-the-scenes operations, while Larrell is the friendly face you’ll see bringing the fun to your event.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
When the pandemic began, it felt like the world just stopped overnight. In an instant, gatherings were canceled, milestones were missed, and the simple joy of being together became something we could no longer take for granted. It was a reminder of how quickly life can change and how precious our time with one another truly is.
COVID season shifted our perspective. We began cherishing even the smallest moments with our own family, the laughter over dinner and the impromptu living room dance parties. It also planted the seed for our business. We wanted to create a way for other families and friends to capture their moments, too, so they could hold onto them no matter what life brings. For us, 904 Photo Co. isn’t just about photos; it’s about preserving joy, connection, and the stories that matter most.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
We launched our photo booth business just two weeks before welcoming our second son into the world. Entering that season with two businesses, two young children, and an unpredictable economy, was both terrifying and humbling. On top of that, our youngest faced health challenges that stretched us in ways we never expected. Now, looking back, we see it as a turning point. Those struggles deepened our faith, taught us to slow down, and reminded us to cherish the small, ordinary moments with our family. Most of all, they showed us that setbacks aren’t failures…they’re opportunities for growth. We’ve learned to trust the purpose God has placed in our hearts, believing that every challenge has been shaping us for something greater.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Our closest friends would say that faith and family are what matter most to us. Those are the pillars that guide everything we do. We want God to receive all the glory in our lives, and our hope is that when people look at us, they see our faith reflected first.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
We feel at peace when we see our clients truly enjoying their experience and appreciating all of the little things that go into making their event special. Peace comes from knowing we played a small part in creating memories they’ll hold onto for a lifetime.
